Event Overview
The 2026 Spring Kiko Round-Up and Sale is one of the most important opportunities of the year for breeders to showcase high-quality Kiko goats for sale, expand visibility, and present their genetics to serious buyers.
As a consignor, your participation helps strengthen the Kiko goat industry by supporting a trusted event that draws motivated buyers who are actively searching for reputable breeders and proven bloodlines.
The sale will take place on April 24–25, 2026 at the Carroll County Ag Center in Carrollton, Georgia, with the live sale beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday. The two day format gives buyers ample time to walk the barns and evaluate consignments.
Consignors are strongly encouraged to promote the event on their social media pages, websites, email lists, and customer networks. A united promotional effort increases buyer turnout, improves bidding competition, and boosts visibility for all participating farms.
By participating in the Spring Sale, consignors can meet buyers face-to-face, discuss breeding philosophies, answer questions, and build long term relationships with producers who value reliable and performance driven Kiko goat genetics.
The Spring Sale weekend creates a welcoming environment where breeders of all experience levels can network, collaborate, and contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the Kiko breed across the Southeast and beyond.
Weekend Highlights & Activities
Consignors and visitors can enjoy a full weekend dedicated to Kiko goat education, breeder networking, and high quality livestock opportunities. The Spring Sale is designed to support both new and experienced producers while attracting serious buyers who value strong Kiko genetics.
What to Expect Throughout the Weekend
Free Educational Seminars:
Learn from respected industry experts who cover topics such as herd management, parasite resistance, breeding strategies, and selection of top performing Kiko goats. These sessions help buyers make informed decisions and allow consignors to demonstrate the value of their breeding programs.
Kids Skill-a-thon:
A youth focused activity that encourages the next generation of Kiko breeders. Participants compete in practical goat care challenges, and the winner receives a registered Kiko doe, donated by a SEKGA member.
100 Percent New Zealand Kiko Buck Giveaway:
One of the most anticipated features of the event. This giveaway highlights the quality and genetic strength found in NZ Kiko lines and attracts dedicated breeders who value purebred performance.
Farm and Live Animal Displays:
Walk through the barns to explore consignments, meet breeders, and compare animals from multiple herds. These displays help buyers evaluate structure, temperament, and overall breed quality in person.
Lunch Before the Sale:
Enjoy a meal with fellow producers, breeders, and families. This relaxed setting provides a great opportunity to talk goats, share ideas, and network with others in the Kiko community.
This event brings together new producers, established breeders, families, youth participants, and serious Kiko buyers in a friendly, supportive environment. It is one of the best opportunities in the Southeast to learn, connect, and invest in proven Kiko goat genetics.
