What a relief! We were finally able to have our June Round Up and Sale in November. This past weekend was perfect. The weather was great, (there were no gnats) and everyone had a good time visiting and talking goats. We had a very good turnout, even with all the pandemic problems.
Out of the 79 lots in the sale catalog, there were 9 scratches and 14 substitutes. The total for the sale was $52, 300 with zero no sales.
3 Percentages sold for $1300 averaging $433
8 Purebred sold for $4450 averaging $556
2 Bucks sold for $1100 averaging $550
57 100% NZ sold for $45,450 averaging $797
There were 58 buyer numbers given out, with 29 of them purchasing animals. There were buyers from eight different states, with GA having the most with 13 buyers. AL came in second with 6 buyers. Lori Hood was the volume buyer, with 7 animals going home with her.
Highest Selling Doe
The high selling doe was sold by RL Peacock of Peacock Kikos in Broxton, GA, and was purchased by Todd and Renee Trotter of Trotters Pride Kikos in Anderson, SC for $1600. She was a 2yr old pregnant doe out of LFK Outlaws Iron Horse and SAF Springs Tootsie.

Highest Selling Buck
The high selling buck was sold by Bob & Marilyn Seleska of Spring Acres Farm in Quitman. GA and was purchased by Megan Upshaw of Arcadia, FL for $750. He was a 10 month old buck out of TMK Machos Black Guy and DLD Jasmine.

Give-Away Buck Winner
The winner of the give-away buck, donated by William & Cheryl Chancey of A-L-S Kikos, was Mike Smith from Reddick, FL.
